. In summing up, Councillor McDonald urged Members to support his Motion and the staff of this Council. In accordance with Procedure Rule 18.3 a recorded vote was taken and the voting was as follows: For the motion: Councillors Douglas, Hughes, Hunter, King, Mallett, McDonald, Rone-Clarke and Thompson (8) Against the motion: Councillors Colella, Deeming, Denaro, Glass, Jones, Kent, Kriss, May, Middleton, Sherrey, Spencer, Thomas, Till, Webb and Whittaker (15) Abstentions: Councillors Baxter, English, Hotham (3) On being put to the vote the Motion was lost.
