Councillor Roger Lees was proposed by Councillor B Bond and seconded by Councillor T Mason. RESOLVED: That Councillor Roger Lees be elected as Leader of the Council. In accordance with Council Procedure Rule 3 the roll call of members was as follows: all members present voted in favour of the election of Councillor Lees with the exception of Councillors P Allen, C Benton, A Bourke, G Burnett, N Caine, W Fisher, I Sadler and C Steel who abstained.
