G. Agree that the Monitoring Officer will advertise, recruit and select another Independent Person and report back to council with a recommendation for appointment for 4 years. Voting was as follows For (14) Councillors Gill Moseley, Ian Whitburn, John Francis, Trevor Roach, Alison Bruce, Richard Burton, Beth Llewellyn, Jackie Dale, Johnathan Lane, Adrian Birch, Chris McFarling, Jackie Fraser, Mark Topping and Andy Moore. Abstain (2) Councillors Clive Elsmore and Simon Phelps. Against (15) Councillors Di Martin, Jamie Elsmore, Julia Gooch, Tim Gwilliam, Bernie O'Neill, James Bevan, Mark Turner, Shaun Stammers, Matt Bishop, Patrick Kyne, Alan Preest, Clayton Williams, Nick Evans, Andrew McDermid and Sid Phelps. Total (31) Councillor Philip Burford returned to the Chambers at 20.27pm. The meeting was adjourned at 20.27pm. The meeting reconvened at 20.33pm.
