Councillor C Morris requested a recorded vote. This was duly seconded. The Chairman the put the proposed amendment in the name of Councillor Mrs Channer to the Council and the voting was as follows: For the recommendation: Councillors Miss A M Beale, B S Beale, Mrs P A Channer, M F L Durham, B B Heubner, A L Hull, J V Keyes, C P Morley, Mrs M E Thompson and Miss S White. Against the recommendation: Councillors V J Bell, M R Edwards, K W Jarvis, K M H Lagan, C Mayes, C Morris, S P Nunn, N G F Shaughnessy, R H Siddall, W Stamp, E L Stephens and Mrs J C Stilts.
